The MOSO® Bamboo decking products are CO2 neutral or better during the product lifespan, proven by a life cycle analysis (LCA) according to ISO 14040/44 / EN15804 standards.

Natural beauty

The beautiful natural grain gives bamboo a distinctive appearance. Combined with the vast choice of different styles, configurations and colours, there is always a Gripsure bamboo product to suit your project.

Sustainability

One bamboo plant consists of several poles and new shoots will grow from the mother plant every year. Around 20-25% of the poles in a sustainable bamboo forest can be harvested each year. The plant does not die after harvesting (as with trees), so there is no deforestation.

Just how “green” is bamboo?

To determine the exact environmental impact of a building material from its production to end-of-life, a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA – ISO 14040/44) can be undertaken. And along with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD – EN 15804) the crucial environmental impacts such as toxicity, depletion and greenhouse gas emissions (carbon footprint) are all measured.
